The Toronto office of Spencer Stuart is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger M. Clarkson as Vice-President and a member of the Firm's Global Consumer Goods & Services Practice.
Roger has spent more than twenty years in a variety of general management and marketing positions in the packaged goods industry, as well as five years as a management consultant. Before joining Spencer Stuart, he was head of the Marketing function of Southam Inc., Canada's largest publisher of newspapers. Prior to that, Roger was Senior Vice President of Marketing and a member of the Executive Committee at Molson Breweries.
After ten years with Colgate-Palmolive and General Foods, Roger spent a number of years with Tandem International Inc., which specializes in marketing and general management consulting.
He holds an M.B.A. degree in Marketing and Organizational Effectiveness from York University, and a B.A. in Psychology and Economics from Wilfred Laurier University.
Roger will be responsible for championing the growth of the Canadian Consumer Goods & Services Practice, which includes sectors such as packaged goods, consumer durable products, retail, marketing services, and fashion an apparel.
