Mr. Alan Curleigh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Canadian Commercial Corporation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Ryan to the position of Vice-President of Operations. This nomination became effective February 16, 2004. Mr. Ryan will also be an Officer of the Corporation.
Mr. Ryan will have overall responsibility for the Corporation achieving its export sales and revenue objectives, as well as contracting and contract management functions. Since joining CCC in 2000, Mr. Ryan has directed programs focused on securing and improving access to the procurement market in the U.S. and developing business opportunities in several other countries.
Mr. Ryan served 21 years with the Canadian Forces, and wears several decorations including medals from the Gulf War and conflict in Bosnia. He holds a MBA from Queen’s University.
CCC is a Crown corporation, wholly owned by the Government of Canada. Its mandate is to assist in the development of trade, which it does by signing and managing over $1 billion in export contracts, and by providing related services to Canadian exporters and foreign buyers in over 30 countries each year.
