Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Arlene Russell to the position of Senior Vice-President, Human Resources. In her new position, Ms. Russell will be responsible for providing strategic and high-level human resources planning and project management support to the 16 business units within the Domestic Bank and Wealth Management. She is responsible for aligning the Domestic Bank’s workforce and programs with the overall business strategies of the Bank.
Ms. Russell’s career with Scotiabank has spanned more than 25 years working in various line management and human resources positions. She has extensive experience in change management initiatives, the Domestic Banking network and operations functions. Ms. Russell holds an Executive MBA from Queen’s University.
