Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Rowe to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer, Roynat Capital, a member of the Scotiabank Group and Canada’s leading merchant bank specializing in innovative long-term capital and business solutions for mid-sized companies.

Ms. Rowe joined Scotiabank in 1987 as an Account Manager in the Corporate Banking Division and progressed through various positions including corporate finance, loan audit, private equity and risk management. Most recently, she was Senior Vice-President, Corporate Credit, Global Risk Management Division. Ms. Rowe holds an MBA from York University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She sits on the External Advisory Board for the University of Guelph Centre for Studies in Leadership, as well as the Boards of Directors for the Roynat Group of Companies, Scotia Merchant Capital Corporation, and Sierra Wireless Corporation.
