Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Rowe to the position of Senior Vice-President, Corporate Credit, Global Risk Management Division. In her new position, Ms. Rowe will be responsible for the U.S. East and special accounts. In addition, Ms. Rowe is a director of Scotia Merchant Capital Corporation, the wholly owned Canadian merchant banking subsidiary of Scotiabank.

Ms. Rowe joined Scotiabank in 1987 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in corporate banking and finance. Most recently, she was Managing Partner & Co-Head, Scotia Merchant Capital Corporation. Ms. Rowe holds an MBA from York University and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
