Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Ron Porter to the position of Senior Vice-President, Automotive Finance and Indirect Lending. In his new position, Mr. Porter will be responsible for the Bank’s Domestic Dealer Finance Business and Indirect Lending, as well as the National Dealer Finance Branch Channel.
A graduate of the University of Guelph, Mr. Porter joined Scotiabank in 1981 and has since held several progressive positions in the area of Dealer Sales and Credit Management. In 1990, Mr. Porter was promoted to the Bank’s Executive Office as Assistant General Manager, Automotive Finance, and was most recently Vice-President of Automotive Finance E.O.
