Howard Grosfield, President & CEO, American Express Canada, and Darryl Brown, President, Global Corporate Services, Americas, are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Parisi to the position of Vice-President & General Manager, Global Corporate Payments, American Express Canada.
As leader of Global Corporate Payments, Mr. Parisi is responsible for developing and driving the business strategy for the Corporate Payments business in Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Executive team and is responsible for strategically aligning Global Corporate Payments with other American Express Canada business units to deliver high-quality products and services and maintain American Expressí leadership position in corporate payments in Canada.
Mr. Parisi joined American Express in 1999 in the Canadian Account Management team, where he led a team of Managers on both Card and Travel Accounts. Over the next six years, he held a number of leadership positions in sales and account management, e-procurement and travel. In 2005, Mr Parisi took on the role of Vice-President, Global Client Group based in London, England. Most recently, he held the position of Regional Vice-President, US Corporate Payments, where he had responsibility for Large and Enterprise size corporate accounts headquartered in the Central United States.
While in the U.S., Mr. Parisi was involved in a number of philanthropic organizations and sat on the Board of Directors for AMEX Assurance Company.

Both are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the New York-based American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc., the largest operating unit of the American Express Company. Amex Bank of Canada is the issuer of American Express Cards in Canada. Amex Canada Inc. operates the Corporate Travel, Travel Services Network and Travellers Cheques divisions in Canada. American Express opened its first offices in Toronto and Hamilton in 1853, and now employs 3,700 Canadians coast-to-coast.
