Manulife Chair of the Board Gail Cook-Bennett is pleased to announce that John Palmer has joined the Boards of Directors of Manulife Financial Corporation and The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company.
Mr. Palmer brings accounting, regulatory and international financial services experience to the Board. He has served as Canadian Managing Partner and Deputy Chairman of KPMG LLP (Canada), was the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, Canada for seven years and was the Deputy Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He has advised other regulators, including the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.
