Heenan Blaikie LLP is pleased to announce that the Honourable John Wilson Morden has joined its Toronto office as counsel.
After serving as a Judge of the High Court of Justice for Ontario from 1973 to 1978, John Morden was appointed to the Court of Appeal for Ontario in 1978, and retired from that Court in November of 2003. He served as Associate Chief Justice of Ontario from 1990 to 1999. He also served as Chair of a special sub-committee of the Rules Committee from 1980 to 1984, which prepared the Rules of Civil Procedure for Ontario. John served as Chair of the Civil Rules Committee from 1990 to 1999.
