Darren Entwistle, President and CEO of TELUS Corporation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul A. Mirabelle as Executive Vice President of Business Transformation. Paul will be responsible for leading a collaborative effort with the other business units to identify, design, assess and implement transformational change initiatives for TELUS. The role reflects the commitment of the organization to deliver innovative and integrated solutions to our customers in response to changing market conditions.
The business transformation team will be responsible for all major enterprise-wide change initiatives such as Web-enabling TELUS, creating an IT roadmap, fundamental process redesign, post-merger and acquisition integration activities and enterprise resource prioritization and management. Business transformation will include the role of Chief Information Officer and billing operations.
Most recently, Paul was Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy at TELUS, responsible for working on enterprise strategy development, and leading major acquisition, merger and divestment activities. He was involved in the recent acquisitions of QuébecTel and Clearnet Communications Inc. Prior to joining TELUS, Paul was Vice President of the Boston Consulting Group, leading the telecommunications team in Australia. Paul received his bachelor of laws degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1982 and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in 1988.
