HSBC Bank Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Samuel Minzberg as Chairman of the Board of HSBC Bank Canada. Mr. Minzberg has been a Director of HSBC Bank Canada for the past ten years, and is Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Mr. Minzberg is also a director of HSBC North American Holdings Inc. and HSBC Finance Corporation. In addition, Mr. Minzberg is a Director of Reitmans (Canada) Limited, Quebecor Media Inc. and Richmont Mines Inc.
Samuel Minzberg is a partner of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg, based in Montreal, Quebec. Actively involved in the community, Mr. Minzberg is a Director and past President of the Sir Mortimer B. Davis - Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, and a member of the Board of Governors of McGill University, where he received his BA, BCL and LLB.
