Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Grant Mick to the position of Senior Vice-President and Chief Auditor. In this position, Mr. Mick is responsible for providing enterprise-wide independent, objective assurance over the design and effectiveness of controls and operational processes for Scotiabank.

Mr. Mick joined Scotiabank in 2000, and since then has held progressively more senior positions in the Bank, with the most recent being Senior Vice-President, Credit, Capital Markets and Treasury Audit. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Economics) degree from The University of Ottawa, a Master of Economics from the University of Toronto, and Master of Business Administration from York University. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario since 1995.
