Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Meek to the position of Senior Vice-President, International Banking. In his new position, Mr. Meek will be responsible for the Bank’s operations in the Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Jamaica, Panama, Puerto Rico, Greece, Egypt and Peru.
Mr. Meek brings over 30 years of diverse international banking experience to his new role. He has held various senior management positions with Scotiabank in Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Peru. Most recently, Mr. Meek was Senior Vice-President of Scotiabank Inverlat in Mexico City.
