Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Lawrence Masterman to the position of Senior Vice-President, Financial Review. In his new position, Mr. Masterman will be responsible for supporting a variety of corporate initiatives related to acquisitions, divestitures, balance sheet structure for the Bank and its subsidiaries, and financial projects. He will also be responsible for the Bank’s Strategic Sourcing Department.

Mr. Masterman joined Scotiabank in 1981 and has held various positions in the Finance Division and Government Affairs and Legislation. Most recently, he was Vice-President, Financial Review. Mr. Masterman holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
