Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Mason to the position of Executive Vice-President, Wealth Management. In her new position, Ms. Mason will be responsible for continuing to grow the Bank’s wealth management franchise, which incorporates the key personal investment and advisory activities within the Bank’s domestic operations, including brokerage, retail investments and private client services.
Ms. Mason joined the Bank in 1982 and has held progressively senior roles in retail banking, card products, marketing, sales and service, and has also been instrumental in the development of the Scotiabank corporate brand. Most recently, she was Executive Vice-President, Marketing, Sales & Service.
She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Honours) and is also a graduate of the Queen’s University Executive Program. She is a member of the boards of the Toronto Board of Trade and Ronald McDonald House.
