HSBC Bank Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jim Mahaffy as Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking. Based in Toronto, Mr. Mahaffy has national responsibility for building relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
Mr. Mahaffy joined HSBC in 1987 and since that time has held a number of executive positions with HSBC in Canada and the United Kingdom. He has recently returned from London to assume his current role.
Mr. Mahaffy holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Alberta.
