Darren Entwistle, President and CEO of TELUS Corporation, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Maduri as Executive Vice President of TELUS and President of Business Solutions. John will be responsible for maximizing market share by leading a national team to provide innovative and integrated Internet Protocol (IP), data, voice and wireless solutions to small and medium business customers.
John has 14 years experience in the cable TV and wireless communications industry with a particular focus in the area of business strategy, finance, operations and customer care. At TELUS, he most recently served as Executive Vice President, TELUS and President of Western Division TELUS Mobility where he was responsible for TELUS Mobility operations and the integration of TELUS Mobility and Clearnet. Through a variety of senior positions with Rogers Cantel Mobile Communications (now Rogers AT&T Wireless), John has participated in the growth, development and evolution of the Canadian wireless industry.
John is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor of business administration from York University in Toronto.
