Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary W. MacDonald to the position of Senior Vice-President, Shared Services Centralized Accounting and Administration. In his new position, Mr. MacDonald will be responsible for providing centralized accounting and sales support to domestic branches and alternate sales forces. He will manage more than 1500 employees at 12 sites across Canada.

Mr. MacDonald joined Scotiabank in 1971 in Calgary and has held various senior positions in banking operations. Most recently, he was Vice-President, Banking Operations. Mr. MacDonald is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce.
