Paul Lucas, President and CEO of GlaxoSmithKline Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Lirette as Vice President of Sales.
Mr. Lirette will be responsible for directing one of Canada’s leading pharmaceutical sales forces towards expected sales of nearly $1 billion in 2001. In this position, he will also assume responsibility for GlaxoSmithKline’s Bureau d’affaires du Quebec.
Mr. Lirette has 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where he has demonstrated strong leadership qualities and held senior positions in both Sales and Marketing management. As part of the company’s recent merger, Mr. Lirette played a pivotal role in overseeing the integration of two companies.
Mr. Lirette’s educational background includes a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
