SNC-Lavalin is pleased to announce the appointments of Patrick Lamarre to the position of Executive Vice-President, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., and to the Office of the President.
Mr. Lamarre is President of SNC-Lavalin Nuclear, Canadaís leading private nuclear company, and is also responsible for SNC-Lavalinís global power generation and transmission and distribution operations, and industrial and infrastructure operations in Ontario. Based in Toronto, he also has geographical responsibilities for Ontario, Manitoba, Angola and India.
He joined SNC-Lavalin in 1995 and worked on major projects in Australia, Chile, Cuba and Venezuela, as well as in Toronto and Montreal with increasing responsibilities for project financing, operations management, project design and engineering. He obtained a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario in 1995 and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard School of Business. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and a designated Consulting Engineer in Ontario.
