Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Hodgson to the position of Senior Managing Director, Wealth Management. In his new position, Mr. Hodgson will be responsible for Scotiabank’s Wealth Management Group, providing client-focused solutions and superior service encompassing private banking and trust, mutual funds, and full-service and direct investing brokerage.
Mr. Hodgson has 25 years experience in the securities industry, and in managing private wealth, including 16 years with ScotiaMcLeod. Most recently, he was President and CEO of Altamira Investment Services. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College and completed a Management Program through the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Hodgson currently chairs the Board of Directors of the Providence Centre Hospital.
