David Mann, President and Chief Executive Officer of Emera Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Henderson, CA, as Emera’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
In this position, Randy has responsibility for all financial operations, risk management activities and relationships with equity and debt markets.
Randy brings his wealth of experience in the energy, electricity and manufacturing sectors to Emera.
His background includes his most recent position as Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer for ENMAX Corporation, an electricity company wholly-owned by the City of Calgary; and time in public and private corporations, including Fletcher Challenge Canada Ltd., and TransAlta Corporation.
A past nominee for PricewaterhouseCooper’s CFO of the Year Award, Randy is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Financial Executives International, and is an alumnus of the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University.
Randy graduated in 1976 from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has been a chartered accountant since 1978.
