DAS Legal Protection Insurance Company Limited (DAS Canada) is pleased to announce the appointment of Barbara Haynes to the position of Chief Executive Officer, DAS Canada, the country’s first specialist in legal expense insurance.

With more than 25 years' experience in the insurance industry, Barbara leads DAS Canada with expertise in underwriting, sales, marketing and leadership for insurers and brokers. After working as the VP of Special Risks at Sun Alliance Insurance Company, she became VP Commercial Insurance at CIBC Insurance, later holding roles as the SVP, Sales & Distribution for Zurich Canada, and most recently VP at Canada Brokerlink and BFL Canada.

Barbara is a Canadian Risk Manager and Fellow, Chartered Insurance Professional majoring in Underwriting and is currently the Chair, National Sponsorships, Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade.
