Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Marianne Hasold-Schilter to the position of Executive Vice-President and Chief Administrative Officer, International Banking. In this position, Marianne is responsible for finance, operations, mergers and acquisition integrations, and joint oversight of systems for International Banking.

Marianne joined Scotiabank in 1988, and has held progressively senior positions in the areas of Audit, Electronic Banking Corporate and Commercial Call Centres, Wealth Management and Human Resources, including Senior Vice-President of Leadership and Top Talent Management, and Managing Director and Head of ScotiaMcLeod Direct Investing. Prior to this appointment, she held the position of Senior Vice-President and Chief Auditor.

Marianne is a chartered accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. She participated in the Governor Generalís Canadian Study Conference in 2000, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario.
