Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Wendy Hannam to the position of Executive Vice-President, Domestic Branch Banking. In her new position, Ms. Hannam will be responsible for the delivery of retail and small business banking services through the branch network in Canada, and National Mortgage Sales.
Ms. Hannam joined Scotiabank in 1983 as a commercial account manager and has held progressively senior positions in commercial banking, risk management, product management, and regional sales management. Most recently, she was Senior Vice-President, Sales and Service. Ms. Hannam holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Memorial University, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Toronto (1983), and completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Toronto Children’s Chorus.
