Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Diane Giard to the position of Senior Vice-President, Quebec & Eastern Ontario Region. In her new position, Diane will be responsible for the financial growth of the franchise, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and operational efficiency for branches in the region.

Diane joined Scotiabank in 1982, and has held a number of progressively senior positions. Most recently she was Vice-President, Small Business, Customer Segment, Marketing Sales & Service, and previously she was District Vice-President, Domestic Branch Banking. Diane has also served in various business areas such as Commercial Credit, Private Banking, Mutual Funds, and Human Resources.

Diane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Université de Montréal, a Master of Business Administration degree from the Université du Québec and is a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.
