Mr. Louis Audet, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cogeco Cable Inc., and Mr. Michael Novak, President of SNC-Lavalin International Inc., are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gaston Germain as Vice-President, International Development, of the newly formed joint venture Cogeco/SNC-Lavalin Broadband International.
Mr. Gaston Germain brings to this position more than 20 years of experience as operator, shareholder or consultant in the field of communications networks and services around the world.
The joint venture’s mission consists in developing projects providing for combined video, telephone and high-speed Internet services on wireline or wireless networks used by individuals, companies and government bodies in countries other than Canada, the United States and the European Union. The venture is the result of a marketing agreement recently concluded between Cogeco Cable Inc. and SNC Lavalin International Inc.
