Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Durocher to the position of Senior Vice-President, Capital and Mid-Term Funding, Treasury Group. In his new position, Mr. Durocher will be responsible for managing the Bank’s capital and mid-term funding, the hedging of interest rate risk related to products and services, and participating in managing the asset-liability mix of the Bank.

Mr. Durocher joined Scotiabank in 1995 as Vice-President, Treasury Group. Prior to joining, he had extensive experience in the treasury department of Montreal Trust. He graduated from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Montreal with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Mr. Durocher holds a C.F.A. designation and is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
