The Board of Directors of PCL Construction Holdings Ltd. is pleased to announce the following appointment that became effective November 1: Paul Douglas, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Paul takes on the role of president and chief executive officer, and will continue as a member of the PCL board. He joined PCL in 1985 with several years of industry experience and a bachelor of applied science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto. In 2004, Paul was the recipient of the Canadian Construction Association’s General Contractor Award of Excellence – Robert Saunders Memorial Award in recognition of his contribution to the Canadian construction industry. In 2008, he was inaugurated into the Canadian Design-Build Institute’s College of Fellows for his outstanding contribution to the enhancement of the Canadian design-build industry.
