Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of John W. Doig to the position of Senior Vice-President, Marketing. In his new position, Mr. Doig will manage the domestic marketing, brand and advertising, and customer insights and measurement operations within Scotiabank.

John joined Scotiabank in 1998 and has held various positions across the Bank. Most recently, he was Managing Director and Head of Scotia Private Client Group, managing operations within Scotiatrust, Scotia Cassels, and Private Banking for Scotia Private Client Group.

Mr. Doig attended the University of Toronto, the University of Eastern Ontario and the Richard Ivey School of Business in the Executive Management Program. John is a Board Member of the Toronto Ronald McDonald House.
