Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of John W. Doig to the position of Managing Director and Head, Scotia Private Client Group. In his new position, Mr. Doig will manage the national network of Private Client Group Centres, providing affluent clients with customized financial solutions delivered through an integrated team of professionals from ScotiaMcLeod, Scotiatrust, Scotia Cassels Investment Counsel and Private Banking.

Mr. Doig joined Scotiabank in 1998 and has held various positions across the Bank. Most recently, he was Managing Director, Head of Marketing & Field Support, managing operations within Scotiatrust and marketing for Scotia Private Client Group.

Mr. Doig attended the University of Toronto and the University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business – Executive Management Program. He is also Board Member of the Toronto Ronald McDonald House.
