Ian has spent the last eight years with the federal Department of Justice, most recently serving as General Counsel. Prior to that, he was a Partner with a full service firm in Toronto. Ian brings extensive trial and appeal experience to the firmís ever-growing employment and administrative law litigation practice. Ianís impressive litigation track record includes his experience as lead counsel for the federal government on several major trials/proceedings, including the Robb, Rintoul Farrow trial, the recently concluded Amertek case and the Air Canada restructuring. Ianís experience with administrative law, insolvency and bankruptcy matters, class actions and complex pension litigation make Ian a significant new addition to the firmís litigation team.
