Paul Lucas, President and CEO of GlaxoSmithKline Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Savino DiPasquale as Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer.
Mr. DiPasquale will lead the team managing GlaxoSmithKline’s extensive investment in information technology to ensure the company maximizes its business value through efficient, effective and innovative technologies.
Mr. DiPasquale has over 18 years of information technology experience in the pharmaceutical and transportation industries, where he has demonstrated strong leadership qualities and held senior positions in both Information Technology and Marketing.
Prior to his most recent appointment, Mr. DiPasquale was Director, eBusiness at GSK where he championed the use of Internet technologies to improve and transform key business processes.
Mr. DiPasquale’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
