The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV) congratulates its 80 new Members. The new Members below have been granted the Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) designation and its French equivalent, Expert en Évaluation d’Entreprises (EEE). To achieve this designation, these new Members have successfully completed the Membership Entrance Examination (MEE), the CICBV Program of Studies and have met experience requirements.
1st place - Adam Johnson, CBV BMO Capital Markets Toronto, ON
2nd place - Rajan Shah, CBV Imperial Capital Toronto, ON
3rd place - Erin Creighton, CBV Deloitte Burlington, ON
3rd place - Edward Lucarelli, CBV Deloitte Toronto, ON
The Board of Directors congratulates all new Members, and gives special recognition to those who attained the highest marks on the MEE. Adam Johnson is the winner of the George Ovens Award, sponsored by Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, for achieving the highest mark. Rajan Shah placed second, and Erin Creighton and Edward Lucarelli tied for third.
The CICBV is the largest professional business valuation organization in Canada, with over 2,400 Members and Registered Students. CBVs are nationally and internationally recognized as leaders in business valuation and related financial expertise.
