Western is pleased to announce the following appointment:

Stephen R. Coxford assumes the role of Chair of the University’s Board of Governors. President of Gresham & St. Andrew Inc., a Toronto-based investment company, Mr. Coxford has served on the boards of a variety of private, public and not-for-profit corporations. He was recently the Vice-Chair of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority (TVOntario). Mr. Coxford is a graduate of Western’s law school, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1979. He is also a graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of Cambridge. A member of Western’s Board of Governors since 2006, Mr. Coxford has served on a number of the Board’s committees and has been Vice-Chair since 2010.
