Paul Lucas, President and CEO of GlaxoSmithKline Inc., is pleased to announce the following appointment:
Diana Conrad has been appointed Vice-President, Human Resources, where she will lead the HR function for the North American Consumer Healthcare business. In her new role, Mrs. Conrad will provide strategic and operational support to the Consumer Healthcare Leadership team.
Since joining GSK in 2000, Mrs. Conrad has held a number of senior positions within the company, most recently as Canadian Vice-President, Human Resources. With more than 20 years experience in HR, training and sales in the pharmaceutical and technology environments, Mrs. Conrad has led the development of GSK’s Canadian HR strategy, ensuring achievement and alignment of business objectives. She has also been instrumental in the company’s continuous recognition as one of the Top 50 Best Employers in Canada.
Mrs. Conrad has an Honours BA from McMaster University and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.
