Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Bubb-Clarke to the position of Senior Vice-President, Global Risk Management, Canadian Commercial Credit. In his new position Mr. Bubb-Clarke will be responsible for credit risk management of the Bank's Commercial Loan portfolio.

Mr. Bubb-Clarke joined the Bank in 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia and has held various positions of increasing responsibility in Commercial Banking and Credit. Most recently, he was Vice-President, Global Risk Management, Canadian Commercial Credit with specific responsibilities for Toronto and Quebec. Mr. Bubb-Clarke has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting from Sir George Williams University (Concordia University), and diplomas in Cost Accounting and Auditing from McGill University. Mr. Bubb-Clarke is also a member of the Toronto Board of Trade.
