Darren Entwistle, President and CEO of TELUS Corporation, is pleased to announce the appointment of John Y. B. Chang as TELUS Executive Vice President and President, Client Solutions. In this position, John will lead the new division which specializes in designing and providing e-business, IT, customized data, Internet Protocol (IP) and wireless solutions for large business, corporate and public sector enterprises.

John joined ISM-BC, a subsidiary of TELUS, in 1994, and has held executive positions in sales, operations and application management. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Advanced Business Application Solutions. John was a key member of the ISM-BC executive team that oversaw ISM-BC's rapid growth from its genesis in 1991 to becoming the pre-eminent information technology services company in Western Canada. Prior to joining ISM-BC, John was the Director of Sales at ISM, a subsidiary of IBM, where he oversaw sales for information technology outsourcing services in Ontario.

John received his bachelor of science degree from York University in 1983, and an MBA from York University in 1986.
