Joe Natale, President of TELUS Client Solutions and Executive Vice-President of TELUS is pleased to announce the appointment of Monty Carter as Vice-President, Sales for the Alberta region. Based in Alberta, Monty will lead and execute the regional sales strategy for large business and provincial government clients and support client and partner relationships to enhance TELUS' presence in the marketplace.

Prior to joining TELUS, Monty was vice president, sales and marketing at Mainland Information Systems, a data storage systems integrator. Monty's extensive industry and sales experience also includes senior roles with IBM Canada, ISM Alberta and Xerox Canada Limited.

Monty holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics and Political Science from the University of Calgary. Monty is a member of the board of the United Way of Calgary, sits on the Business Advisory Council at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), and is a member of the board of the Calgary Celtic Soccer Club.
