Pierre Duhaime, President and CEO of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of Darleen Caron to the position of Executive Vice-President, Global Human Resources and member of the Office of the President, effective December 13, 2010. Ms. Caron assumes responsibility for SNC-Lavalinís Human Resources operations worldwide.
Ms. Caron was previously Vice-President, Human Capital Planning and Development at Dow Chemical, based in the United States. She brings to SNC-Lavalin over 22 years of international experience in Human Resources and Environment, Health and Safety, acquired with multinational companies such as Dow, ABB and Alcan.
Ms. Caron holds a bachelorís degree in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal. Over the course of her career, she held several senior leadership positions in Human Resources while based out of Canada, Switzerland and the U.S.
Ms. Caronís international experience and track record in building superior global organizational capabilities to support growth strategies will contribute greatly to SNC-Lavalinís overall business objectives.
