Stikeman Elliott LLP is pleased to announce that Eric Bremermann has joined the firm as a Partner in the Toronto office. Eric will be a member of the firmís Corporate, Energy and European Practice Groups.
Eric's practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on Canadian-European crossborder issues, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, and the establishment of Canadian subsidiaries, as well as on corporate governance and finance. He has extensive expertise in various industries spanning from consumer products to manufacturing and information technology. He also supports clients in the area of renewable energy advising in connection with their entry into Canada, the development and financing of power projects, including wind and solar, and associated regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott, Eric led the European Practice group at a boutique firm. Fluent in English and German, Eric is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association, and has served as a director of a number of multinational corporations with headquarters in German speaking Europe.
