Jacques Lamarre, O.C., President and CEO, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Riadh Ben Aïssa to the position of Executive Vice-President, SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., and as a new member of the Office of the President.
As the new President of Socodec, SNC-Lavalinís construction division, Mr. Ben Aïssa assumes leadership for construction, telecommunications and water infrastructure and concessions worldwide. In addition, he has geographical responsibilities for operations in Algeria, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
Mr. Ben Aïssa joined SNC-Lavalin in 1985, and held positions of increasing responsibility in strategic planning and development prior to being named Senior Vice-President, SNC-Lavalin International. He has since been responsible for managing some of the Companyís largest turnkey projects in North Africa and the Middle East.
He obtained a Bachelor in Commerce, a Bachelor in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa.
