Manulife Chair of the Board Gail Cook-Bennett is pleased to announce that Linda Bammann has joined the Boards of Directors of Manulife Financial Corporation and The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company.
Ms. Bammann brings significant risk management and US financial services industry experience to the Board. She has served as Chief Risk Management Officer at Bank One and subsequent to the merger, Deputy Risk Management Officer at JP Morgan Chase and Company. In these roles, Ms. Bammannís responsibilities included firm-wide market, credit and operational risk management. Her previous global experience also included loan portfolio management responsibilities in Asia, Europe and the Americas. She has chaired the Loan Syndications and Trading Association, and was a Board member of the Risk Management Association.
