Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Armstrong to the position of Senior Vice-President, Specialty Product Groups, Commercial Banking. This new position is responsible for leading the Mid-Market Private Equity Sponsorship Group, Agriculture Group and the Bank’s leasing business.
Mr. Armstrong joined Scotiabank in 1978 in International Banking. Most recently he was Vice-President, Credit Solutions where he delivered financial solutions to Commercial Banking clientele. Mr. Armstrong is active in fundraising for United Way and sits on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation.
