HSBC Bank Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Nancy Hughes Anthony to its Board of Directors. Ms. Anthony was formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Bankers Association.
Nancy Hughes Anthony has also acted as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President, Group and Persion Services of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and as a Deputy Minister in the Government of Canada.
Ms. Hughes Anthony is Vice-Chair of the Private Sector Advisory Board for the Networks of Centres of Excellence of Canada, and has also served as a Chair of the International Banking Federation and as a Governor of Carleton University.
Nancy Hughes Anthony holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (with Distinction) from McGill University, and is a graduate of the Directors Education Program of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
