Stikeman Elliott LLP is pleased to announce that Amyn M. Abdula has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate and Securities Group working out of the Vancouver office.
Mr. Abdula has acted as counsel in a large number of domestic and international transactions involving M&A, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, project financing and intellectual property matters such as the development, licensing and transfer of technology.
He has also acted for corporations engaged in the fuel cell, distributed power generation, advanced power electronics and biotechnology businesses, amongst others, and has been involved in establishing complex multi-million dollar international strategic alliances.
Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott LLP, Mr. Abdula practiced as a senior partner with another national law firm.
Mr. Abdula was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1980 after graduating in law from McGill University in 1977 and from the University of Southampton, England in 1973.
