Scotiabank is pleased to announce the appointment of Gail Smith to the position of Senior Vice-President, Front Office Development, Integrated Support Services. Based in Toronto, Ms. Smith will have global responsibility for the front office information technology of Scotia Capital Markets and the Bank's Global Treasury.
A specialist in information systems, Ms. Smith joined Scotiabank in 1982. Most recently, she was Vice-President, Front Office Development, Integrated Support Services. Ms. Smith holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mount St. Vincent University.
