TELUS Corporation is pleased to announce that Donald Woodley of Toronto, Ontario has joined the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Woodley was elected at the recent Annual General Meeting held in Calgary, Alberta on April 30, 1998.
Mr. Woodley is President of Oracle Corporation of Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of the world's second-largest software company. His career includes a number of senior executive positions in the communications industry. From 1987 to 1997, he was President of Compaq Canada Inc. and from 1985 to 1987, he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Crowntek Inc. He currently services as Chairman of the Information Technology Association of Canada and is a member of the Board of Governors of The Stratford Festival.
