Born on the North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia, Blair Wilson is deeply committed to the issues facing West Vancouver, Sea to Sky and Sunshine Coast residents.
He attended the University of British Columbia for one year before transferring to the University of Victoria where he earned a Bachelor's degree in political science. Mr. Wilson subsequently studied to become a Chartered Accountant.
As a Chartered Accountant he worked for Ernst and Young in the company's Vancouver office. Balancing work and family, he currently owns a successful restaurant on Robson Street with his father and brother.
A resident of West Vancouver for more than 12 years, Mr. Wilson has been involved in a wide range of civic activities including chairing last spring's 2010 Rally on Robson in support of Vancouver's Olympic bid.
Mr. Blair believes in providing affordable and accessible education, bringing fiscal responsibility to Ottawa, and giving the West a strong voice in Parliament.
He and his wife Kelly have been married fourteen years, and have two children. He is actively involved in the West Vancouver United Church and various community initiatives. He and his family are frequently in Whistler enjoying all that the community has to offer, and on the Sunshine Coast visiting family.
