· Has extensive experience in recreation and physical education with the Boys’ Clubs of Vancouver, the Canadian Armed Forces in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, the Burnaby, Coquitlam and New Westminster recreation departments, the Canadian Youth Hostelling Association in Whitehorse

· Worked for the Government of Yukon as Canada Games Coordinator, Recreation Consultant and Acting Director of Recreation

· Taught Russian and French at a number of institutions in Canada and the U.S.

· Was an Instructor in Russian at Selkirk College between 1994 and 2001

· Served on the Coaching Council of Canada and as Chef de Mission for Canada Games 1977 and 1979

· Born in New Westminster in 1946.
